Sponges can be used to produce a many different
effects and textures, in a variety of techniques,
from faux finishes to watercolors. There are two
sponge types to give the artist or decorator a range
of choices: silk sponges are absorbent and have a
fine texture; wool sponges are super absorbent due
to their porous texture. Also available is a sampler
pack, containing a wool sponge and a silk sponge. As
with other Mona Lisa products, sponges are available
in peggable packages or in bulk quantities.
